Where information provided during a consultation or confirmed booking differs from information displayed on the website, the information confirmed directly by Eliö Dermal will apply.
4. No Medical Advice
The information on this website does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Eliö Dermal provides professional skincare and beauty services but does not replace the services of a medical doctor, dermatologist or other registered healthcare practitioner.
You should seek appropriate medical advice if you:

Eliö Dermal may decline or postpone a treatment and may recommend that you consult an appropriate healthcare practitioner.
5. Consultations and Treatment Plans
Certain treatments may require a consultation before treatment.
During a consultation, you may be asked to provide information about:
- Your skin concerns and goals;
- Your current skincare routine;
- Products you are using;
- Allergies and sensitivities;
- Medication and supplements;
- Previous procedures or treatments;
- Relevant medical history;
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding;
- Lifestyle factors; and
- Your treatment preferences.
You are responsible for providing complete, current and accurate information.
A treatment plan or homecare recommendation is based on the information available at the time of the consultation. Treatment plans may be adjusted according to your skin’s response, changes in your health, product availability or professional assessment.
6. Bookings
Bookings may be made through the website, telephone, WhatsApp, email, social media or another booking platform used by Eliö Dermal.
A booking is only confirmed once you receive confirmation from Eliö Dermal or the applicable booking platform.
You are responsible for checking that the following details are correct:
- The selected treatment;
- The booking date;
- The appointment time;
- The clinic address; and
- Any preparation instructions.
Eliö Dermal may contact you to confirm, reschedule or clarify a booking.
7. Deposits and Payments
Some appointments, packages or advanced treatments may require a deposit or full payment in advance.
Where a deposit is required:
- The amount and payment deadline will be communicated before the booking is confirmed;
- The deposit may be deducted from the final treatment price;
- The booking may remain unconfirmed until payment is received; and
- Failure to pay by the stated deadline may result in the appointment being released.
Payments must be made using an accepted payment method communicated by Eliö Dermal.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that electronic payments use the correct payment reference and payment details.
8. Prices
All prices are quoted in South African rand unless stated otherwise.
Prices displayed on the website are subject to change. The price confirmed when your booking is accepted will generally apply to that appointment, unless:
- The incorrect treatment was selected;
- Additional services or products are requested;
- The published price contained an obvious error;
- The treatment must be changed after consultation; or
- The scope of the treatment differs from what was originally booked.
Eliö Dermal will explain any material price change before proceeding with the treatment.
9. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Clients should cancel or reschedule appointments as early as reasonably possible.
The cancellation terms communicated during the booking process will apply.
Eliö Dermal may retain or apply a booking deposit where:

- A client does not arrive for an appointment;
- A client arrives too late for the treatment to be performed safely;
- A booking is repeatedly rescheduled at short notice; or
- Eliö Dermal has ordered or prepared treatment-specific products for the appointment.
Where reasonably possible, Eliö Dermal may allow a deposit to be transferred to a rescheduled appointment.
Nothing in this clause is intended to exclude any rights that a consumer may have under applicable South African law.
10. Late Arrivals
Clients should arrive on time for appointments.
Late arrival may result in:
- A shortened treatment;
- Certain treatment steps being omitted;
- The appointment being rescheduled; or
- The appointment being treated as a late cancellation where insufficient time remains to perform the treatment safely.
The full treatment fee may remain payable where the appointment cannot be completed because of the client’s late arrival.
11. Cancellation by Eliö Dermal
Eliö Dermal may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment because of illness, emergencies, equipment failure, product availability, safety concerns or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where Eliö Dermal cancels an appointment, the client may generally choose between:
- Rescheduling the appointment; or
- Receiving a refund of any payment made specifically for the cancelled appointment.
Eliö Dermal is not responsible for indirect expenses incurred because an appointment is cancelled, such as transport, accommodation or loss of income, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

Unopened products may be considered for return, provided that:
